Kiddie Academy is tickled pink as the national sponsor of the new PBS Kids series Pinkalicious & Peterrific!
Pinkalicious & Peterrific, a PBS Kids TV series debuts today on stations across the country and online. Kiddie Academy is the national sponsor of the new series that reaches millions! Watch episodes online on PBSkids.org or on the PBS Kids app.
Kids and Parents around the country love Pinkalicious! Kiddie Academy loves it too because it’s a good fit for our brand and we’re the inaugural national sponsor. The new animated series encourages creativity and celebrates the arts across all disciplines — dance, theater, music and the visual arts. Each episode includes two 11-minute stories and an original song. The series includes 38 half-hour episodes and one hour-long special. The PBSKids.org site includes episodes, games, videos and activities.
Pinkalicious & Peterrific follows the adventures of the sister and brother pair. Pinkalicious imagines creative possibilities everywhere she looks. She is an artist at heart—and, like most creative people, she sees the world differently than others. She knows what she likes, and she’s not afraid to express herself—though sometimes she needs the help of Peter and her neighborhood friends.
As the national sponsor, Kiddie Academy has an extensive package for exposure with our core audience of working parents with children 2-5 years old including on-air spots, linked logos on the series site, pre-roll on full episodes streaming on digital platforms and engagement across the series social platforms.
Originally launched in 2006 as a book series by author Victoria Kann, Pinkalicious is now a multi-faceted brand. With a focus on social and emotional learning (SEL), and drawing upon the National Core Arts Standards, this new series aims to celebrate the value and pleasure of self-expression, and deepening understanding of the arts.
“We have a long, successful partnership with PBS Kids sponsoring Curious George and Henson’s Dinosaur Train.” says Nicole Salla, Kiddie Academy’s vice president of marketing. “The programs align well with our developmentally appropriate Life Essentials Curriculum. It’s thrilling to support Pinkalicious, the first comprehensive preschool arts series for public media!”
Kiddie Academy’s investment in PBS Kids programming provides tremendous exposure to families actively seeking input from experts in child psychology and early childhood education. Salla adds, “We’re ‘tickled pink’ Pinkalicious & Peterrific is available for millions of families to enjoy! The series is debuting with an estimated TV audience of over 1 million people. The online premier has received over 20 million streams and the “PBS Kids Funding and Credits” YouTube video with our commercial has 45K views as of today!”
