Kiddie Academy’s Storytime LIVE! Event Wins Marketing Award


Kiddie Academy’s Director of Marketing, Heather Davis and Creative Director, Brent Weigelt accepted the award on behalf of the company.

Kiddie Academy’s corporate marketing team members were recently recognized for their work in implementing a marketing campaign and event at more than 100 different Kiddie Academy locations nationwide between July and September 2016: Storytime LIVE!.

The American Marketing Association (AMA) Baltimore Chapter hosted its 32nd Annual Marketing Excellence Awards at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor this month where Kiddie Academy accepted an award for “Best Branding Campaign.” The award honored the team’s success with the event, where Curious George jumps off the page and visits the classroom in person. Overall, 5,696 families registered 8,446 children to attend the event, an average of 52 families per location.

Sixteen other organizations were recognized by AMA Baltimore for winning marketing campaigns, including those built by marketing experts at Baltimore Gas & Electric (BGE), BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport, Maryland Auto Insurance and others.
